My colleague, Tim Alamenciak, and I did a thing back when we were both at University of Waterloo! I was really proud to be one of the students who participated in the "Day in the Life of a Graduate Student" showcase. This really captures many of my days spent working on my dissertation in Waterloo. I was privileged to also conduct my field research in my home town of Mwanza, Tanzania and publish the results of my research in the Frontiers Journal showcasing Women in Soil Health and Security.

Another fun thing I got to take part in was the Lake Shift Dissertation Writing Bootcamp where I got to meet other PhD candidates from the University of Waterloo and from many other universities across Ontario!
